- A tour of the Library of one of the most influential Christians in modern times. We have run this trip before, but always in conjunction with something else and as a multi-day trip. Several of you have requested this as a 1-day trip, so here it is. We leave early, have lunch included, and return home the same day. A great trip to bring a whole Sunday School Class, just come with a friend, or enjoy it as an individual....

- A Collette Vacations tour
Trains of the Colorado Rockies…fly from Knoxville to, Denver . Meet your Collette Tour Manager at the airport and he/she will be with the group until departing the airport 9 days later. Guided tour of Denver, enjoy the beauty of Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park. Marvel at the peaks and rugged canyons as you ride the famed “Trail Ridge Road’ ‘Roof of the Rockies’ and cross the continental divide. Ride the ‘Georgetown Loop Railroad then stop for lunch in Vail, CO. From there on to Grand Junction where you stay overnight for two nights. Tour Rim Rock, Colorado’s wine country, the Colorado Monument. Next it is all aboard for a ride on the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. Overnight in Durango, then an incredible day at Mesa Verde National Park to see the ancient Anasazi Indian cliff dwellings. Next day we ride the cog-rail train to Pikes Peak, then visit the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. A final ‘Farewell dinner’, overnight, then it’s back to the airport to fly back to Tennessee.
9 days, 12 meals. All transportation, luggage handling, r.t. airfare and lodging with a Collette Tour manager for the whole trip—airport to airport....

- Enjoy the fall foliage during ‘Peak week’ East Tennessee on a 50 mile round trip up the beautiful lower Hiwassee River Gorge. This 3 ½ hour trip will take you to the top of the famous “Hiwassee Loop” where the tracks cross over themselves as they corkscrew up the mountain near Farner, TN. Passengers for ‘Loop’ trips can load on and off the train without climbing steps. Lunch is included....

Discover the world of the ancient Egyptians-- the incomparable sites of the pharaohs—Memphis & Sakkara, the Pyramids of Giza, Luxor and Karnak temples and the tombs on the West Bank of ancient Thebes. Cruise along the legendary Nile River; pass colonnaded temples and stop at the temples of Edfu amd Kom Ombo, situated at the crossroads of ancient caravan routes; walk the incredible Valley of the Kings and Queens. Price includes rt air from Knoxville; 21 meals; 4 nights on a Nile River cruise ship; gratuities for Egyptologist and Nile River Cruise Crew included. Trip is rated as moderate . . . be prepared for walking over some uneven surfaces. The only way to see the Valley of the Kings & Queens is to walk. - Dec 2-3: 2-day Asheville, NC. Biltmore Mansion at Christmas by candlelight, plus
- Dec 9: 1-day Button-Willow Theater presentation of a Civil War Christmas
- Start planning for your major trips in 2011. Currently are looking at:
- A late February, 11 night cruise to the Eastern Caribbean. We will coach to Fredrick, MD, stay overnight with dinner and breakfast included, do some touring, next day then coach on into Baltimore to board the cruise ship, visit 5 ports of call in the Eastern Caribbean and return to Baltimore, then return to Knoxville the same day we disembark.
- Mid April, a trip to Rome, Italy, then a tour through Southern Italy and Sicily. 9 days of touring with r.t. air included.
- Mid-late August, 9-10 days touring the Atlantic coast with Nova Scotia.
- Late fall, 9-10 days to South Africa including a visit to the Kruger National Game Preserve with all those delightful elephants, giraffes, lions, zebra, wildebeests, plus Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Port Elizabeth..
- At least one more major trip, possibly a coach tour of Yellowstone Nat. Park, Badlands Nat. Park, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse statue, and other interesting stops in that part of the U.S.
